ORA-22859: invalid modification of columns
Cause: An attempt was made to modify an object, REF, VARRAY, nested table, or LOB column type.
Action: Create a new column of the desired type and copy the current column data to the new type using the appropriate type constructor.
ORA-22859: invalid modification of columns错误指的是对某一列结构进行了非法的修改。

ORA-22859: invalid modification of columns occurs when there is an attempt to modify a column at an invalid time, for example, when one attempted to modify the column type or size.

一般处理方法及步骤
确认语句中的表名、字段名是否正确；
检查一下你想要修改的类型是不是可以修改的；
检查一下列表的大小，是否超出了最大的限制；
如果还是不能正常运行，那就尝试重建表格语句，将那一列放到最后，然后修改语句只更改那一个字段。
